Senior Business Analyst – CyberCyber Security

12 Months Contract

Wollongong Location – Hybrid Role

Talent International is working in partnership with a large organisation to assist in sourcing a Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of the CyberCyber Security Program.

• This is an initial 12-month contract position, but expected to extend to end of 2027 (program ends).
• Possible conversion to full-time after program (if interested).
• An immediate start, to replace a current contractor who is leaving.
• Current rate for the role is $970/day incl. super
• Hybrid role, based at Wollongong. 2 days per week on site and 3 days per week from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement
• Gathering, analysing, and documenting business and technical requirements
• Conducting current state, future state and gap analysis, and process mapping
• Supporting solution design, testing, and validation against business requirements
• Contributing to project planning, activity coordination, and process improvement initiatives
• Participating in and documenting penetration testing exercises.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’years’ experience in a senior business/systems analyst role on ICTICT projects implementing technical solutions
• Strong background in requirements development, business process re-engineering, and business systems specification
• Experience with project management, testing, QAQA, and system deployment methodologies
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across a diverse project team and technical SME’s
• SME’sProven ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders, including managing challenging stakeholder relationships
• Experience working with vendors and external partners
• Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience/training)

Desirable:

• Knowledge of cyber cybersecurity technologies
• Experience within the Australian higher education sector
