Working with government agencies in Australia and around the world, the department is the primary agency in ensuring Australia’s economic growth and stability on the global stage.

The Role

We are seeking experienced Senior Business Analysts to support the delivery and sustainment of key ICT initiatives. You will work across multiple priorities, engaging closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable requirements within agile delivery environments.

Your duties will include:

  • Eliciting, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements
  • Supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning and delivery activities
  • Producing high-quality artefacts including user stories and process maps
  • Collaborating with developers, architects and business stakeholders
  • Driving continuous improvement and delivering business outcomes

Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst in software delivery environments
  • Strong experience working within agile delivery teams
  • Proven ability to produce detailed business and technical documentation
  • Experience working with DevOps tools and technical stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience across SDLC, data architecture and solution environments
  • Experience in change management methodologies (Highly regarded)
