Senior Business Analyst

We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Analyst to support a critical upgrade of our legacy Oracle environment to version 19c. You’ll work closely with our Solution Architect and delivery vendor to define requirements, assess impacts, and ensure a smooth, well-governed transition.

This is a key role within a complex ecosystem, requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to navigate interdependencies across applications, infrastructure, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Solution Architect and vendor to define and document detailed upgrade requirements
  • Analyse current Oracle environments to identify risks, dependencies, and impacts of deprecated features
  • Lead the capture of critical inventory and source-of-truth data to assess compatibility and readiness
  • Support planning, configuration, and testing phases of the Oracle 19c upgrade
  • Collaborate across technical teams to manage interdependencies and ensure alignment
  • Contribute to governance around security, compliance, and access controls

Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of Oracle systems infrastructure
  • Deep experience with Oracle database upgrades and migrations in complex environments.
  • Proven ability to capture and analyse inventory/source-of-truth data for upgrade planning and validation
  • Strong technical BA experience within enterprise-scale transformation or upgrade programs
  • Experience working on complex technology projects with high interdependencies (applications, infrastructure, integrations) desirable
