Overview:

Our forward-thinking financial services client is expanding their digital presence and is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in a large-scale digital transformation.

Working across multiple initiatives, you will partner closely with business leaders and delivery teams to understand the organisation’s vision, objectives, and desired outcomes. You will assess the impact of initiatives, identify who is affected, evaluate where genuine value is created, and determine how that value can be measured and realised. From there, you will translate complex business needs into clear, actionable, and well-structured requirements that enable teams to execute with confidence.

Acting as the central point of collaboration across multiple business units and departments, you will align stakeholders, cut through ambiguity, and ensure initiatives are well defined, strategically aligned, and ready for delivery. You will work end to end from early discovery and problem definition through to detailed analysis, delivery support, and benefits realisation.

You will contribute across a broad digital portfolio, ranging from hands-on enhancements to web, mobile, and CRM platforms through to complex initiatives such as system replacements, platform migrations, and process re-engineering. Your ability to balance big-picture transformation thinking with detailed analysis will be critical to delivering meaningful, measurable outcomes.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst delivering multiple complex digital and transformation initiatives, preferably within financial services
  • Strong experience operating across both discovery and delivery phases, including detailed functional and non-functional requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to assess business impact, value, dependencies, and risks
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience working across multiple business units and levels of seniority
  • Ability to break down ambiguous problems and translate them into structured, actionable work for delivery teams
  • Experience collaborating with third-party vendors and technology partners in an outsourced environment
  • Strong documentation skills, including the ability to reverse engineer existing systems and specifications
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, modern product practices, and iterative delivery
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Lucid

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with customer journey mapping, value stream mapping, and service design
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations in financial services
  • Experience contributing to or leading large transformation programmes
  • Background in fast-paced or evolving environments

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst delivering digital or transformation initiatives
