
Senior Business Analyst
Talent has partnered with Wellington Water to build a team for a key programme of work that will ensure the technology systems underpinning the delivery of water services are primed for the future.

The Opportunity
There are three Senior BA opportunities (two-year fixed term) to be filled, each will be focused on a different workstream(s) in a major digital change programme:
- Asset Management Information System [AMIS]
- Financial Information Management System [FMIS]
- Customer Relationship Management System [CRM]
- Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management [P3M] toolsets
- Health & Safety Management System
- Information Management toolset.
As a Senior BA, working on one or more of these workstreams, it would be ideal to have a proven background in the subject matter. These are new projects so the focus will be to develop documentation to meet the future state. It will be important for the Senior BA to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
- Gathering requirements through facilitating workshops and one on ones
- Develop future state documentation such as process maps, user stories, traceability matrices and benefits realisation maps
- Assisting business transition and change
- Assisting with training documentation
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Extensive experience engaging business owners and developing lasting relationships across the business at all levels
- Excellent communication skills to ensure all parties are well informed with progress and how different teams will be affected
- Proven experience identifying solutions focused on meeting end user needs.
- Flexibility, and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Experience on either FMIS, CRM, AMIS or P3M implementations.
