Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst who thrives at the intersection of business transformation and long-term product growth.
This is a permanent role, offering the opportunity to move beyond one-off delivery and play a strategic role in shaping the future of enterprise systems and processes. The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in gathering and ensuring well documented requirements to aid a successful company-wide ERP project.
This position is based in Penrose, Auckland and offers hybrid working (3 days in the office per week).
What you’ll be doing
- Drive continuous delivery and improvement across ERP platforms, with an initial focus on post-implementation alignment.
- Build stakeholder relationships, trust and maturity, helping the organisation grow its internal capability.
- Partner with the Business Applications Manager, Product Manager, and COO to act as a strategic advisor.
- Capture and document requirements that are clear, concise, and business-ready for senior leaders.
- Evaluate requirements for complexity and business relevance, ensuring alignment with long-term strategy.
- Support decision-making with sign-off-ready documentation for governance forums and boards.
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years’ process focused business analysis experience across large-scale ERP/CRM projects; ideally within warehousing or distribution systems/environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to bring clarity and alignment in complex, multi-vendor projects.
- Expertise in producing documentation for non-technical, senior audiences (e.g. steering committees).
- A balance of project delivery skills (requirements capture, transformation delivery, documentation) and long-term product mindset (continuous improvement, strategic input, stakeholder maturity).
- Ability to build subject matter expertise and act as a trusted partner to leadership.
