Senior Analyst of Funding Innovation
Talent International is currently recruiting a Senior Analyst of Funding Innovation to work for the NSW Government, based in Parramatta. This is a 6-month contract with a view to be extended. The role pays $850-$950/day + Super.
Hours – 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Required license: Driver’s license
About the Role
In this role, you will lead the identification and analysis of new funding opportunities, exploring innovative financing models and strategic partnerships to strengthen the organisation’s ability to deliver sustainable housing outcomes.
You will play a key role in research, financial analysis, business case development, and the negotiation and implementation of funding agreements, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyse funding opportunities, identifying potential funding sources and preparing business cases to support applications
- Build and maintain relationships with funding partners, including government agencies, private investors, and philanthropic organisations
- Provide financial and commercial analysis on proposed funding streams, including assessment of risks and opportunities
- Develop innovative financing models and partnership structures to support housing delivery for Aboriginal communities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and community priorities
- Support the negotiation and implementation of funding agreements, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on funding initiatives, providing insights to support strategic decision-making
About You
You will bring:
- Strong experience in funding strategy, financial analysis, or investment-related roles
- Demonstrated ability to develop business cases and funding proposals
- Experience working with government, private, or philanthropic funding models
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication capabilities
- A valid Driver’s Licence
