Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Information Security professionals to support a multi-project ICT program. The role focuses on establishing security compliance frameworks, supporting certification and accreditation activities, and ensuring information security requirements are embedded throughout project delivery in line with Commonwealth Government standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage security compliance frameworks with accreditation authorities
  • Support project teams with security documentation for certification and approvals
  • Assess IT systems against Commonwealth Government security standards
  • Conduct security risk assessments for new technologies and capabilities
  • Work collaboratively within agile project teams to align security activities with delivery schedules
  • Contribute to design reviews, stakeholder engagement, and agile ceremonies

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong experience in information security and compliance assessments
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth Government and/or international security frameworks
  • Experience conducting security risk assessments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple projects
  • High level of discretion when operating in secure environments
