We’re partnering with a leading enterprise organisation to recruit a Security Network Engineer to join a high-performing Network & Security team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across network security and core networking in a large-scale, complex environment supporting critical infrastructure.

The Role
You’ll work across both engineering and operational support, with exposure to firewalls, routing & switching, secure connectivity and enterprise network environments. The role offers a strong mix of BAU and project work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and engineer network security platforms (firewalls, VPNs, proxy)
  • Work across routing & switching environments (LAN/WAN)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across complex networks
  • Deliver network changes, upgrades and enhancements
  • Maintain monitoring, documentation and operational standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in network engineering or network security roles
  • Strong networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP)
  • Firewall experience (Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto or similar)
  • Understanding of secure connectivity (VPN, IPsec, SSL, GRE)
  • Exposure to enterprise environments and structured change processes

Nice to Have

  • F5 / load balancing experience
  • Fortinet or SD-WAN exposure
  • Automation / scripting (Python, Ansible)
  • Experience in large, complex or regulated environments
