Security Network Analyst
Talent International, a leading Australian recruitment firm, have been engaged by an ASX-listed organisation operating a large-scale national technology environment. We are seeking a Security Network Analyst to join their growing security operations team.
Role Title: Security Network Analyst
Opportunity: Permanent Career Opportunity
Location + WFH Flexibility: Sydney – Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days WFH)
On-Call: 1 week every 8 weeks (allowance provided)
Role Details:
- Manage security-related tickets across firewalls, proxy and access requests
- Enforce security policies and governance controls across the environment
- Support change requests through CAB (Change Advisory Board) processes
- Work closely with Cyber, GRC and internal IT teams to uphold security standards
- Assist in maintaining secure, reliable network and infrastructure environments
- Contribute to operational security processes across a complex, federated environment
This is an operations-focused (BAU) role within the security team, with strong exposure to enterprise systems and clear progression into engineering pathways over time.
Must-Have Skills:
- Firewall experience (Check Point preferred)
- Strong networking fundamentals
- High attention to detail
Nice to Have:
- Proxy technologies (e.g. Zscaler)
- VMware exposure
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
Candidate Profile:
- Experience within IT operations, network support or security support roles
- Familiarity with incident management, change management and policy-driven environments
- Comfortable working within structured governance and compliance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder communication across technical teams
Key Traits:
- Highly detail-oriented and process-driven
- Pragmatic approach to security policies and controls
- Comfortable pushing back and enforcing governance decisions
- Able to operate in a fast-paced, complex environment
Working Environment:
- Hybrid model – 3 days onsite / 2 days WFH
- Flexible hours across business coverage (approx. 7am-6pm)
- On-call rotation with low volume but SLA-driven response requirements
- National team operating across multiple locations
