Security Business Analyst x 2
- 12 month ongoing contract to start ASAP
- Work on several infrastructure and security projects
- Central CBD location – 2 days WFH
Our client is currently on the lookout for two Senior Business Analysts to join a multi-year cyber uplift program. The two BA will work in tandem, one will focus on technical requirements where as the other will focus on processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements for cybersecurity initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define security controls, policies, and risk mitigation strategies
- Support the implementation of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. Essential Eight, ISO 27001, NIST)
- Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments, and support the development of security roadmaps
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business language
- Assist in the development of process documentation, user stories, and test cases
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and security teams to ensure successful delivery
About You
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on cybersecurity or IT risk
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams to drive alignment
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or CBAP) are a plus
