We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to support and shape cyber security architecture within a highly regulated energy environment. This role will play a critical part in ensuring secure, compliant, and resilient infrastructure across both IT and OT environments for an energy retailer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain cyber security architecture across enterprise IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments
  • Ensure security controls align with energy sector regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Provide architectural guidance for security infrastructure, networks, and platforms
  • Support risk assessments, threat modelling, and security uplift initiatives
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and compliance teams to embed security-by-design
  • Produce clear architecture documentation and standards suitable for regulated environments

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Security Architect within the energy or utilities sector
  • Strong background in cyber security infrastructure and enterprise security architecture
  • Hands-on experience with OT security and IT/OT convergence
  • Experience working within a heavily regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, regulatory obligations, and audit readiness
  • Experience supporting or working within an energy retailer environment is highly desirable
