Security Architect

- Design Security Architecture in a highly regulated energy environment
We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to support and shape cyber security architecture within a highly regulated energy environment. This role will play a critical part in ensuring secure, compliant, and resilient infrastructure across both IT and OT environments for an energy retailer.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain cyber security architecture across enterprise IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments
- Ensure security controls align with energy sector regulatory and compliance requirements
- Provide architectural guidance for security infrastructure, networks, and platforms
- Support risk assessments, threat modelling, and security uplift initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and compliance teams to embed security-by-design
- Produce clear architecture documentation and standards suitable for regulated environments
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Security Architect within the energy or utilities sector
- Strong background in cyber security infrastructure and enterprise security architecture
- Hands-on experience with OT security and IT/OT convergence
- Experience working within a heavily regulated environment
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, regulatory obligations, and audit readiness
- Experience supporting or working within an energy retailer environment is highly desirable
