Our Client

This Federal Government agency is responsible for supporting and strengthening nationally regulated care services through the development and implementation of frameworks that promote quality outcomes, accountability and continuous improvement. Working closely with providers, consumers and government stakeholders, they play a key role in safeguarding service standards, improving sector capability and supporting the delivery of person-centred care across Australia.

The Role

We’re looking for an APS6 equivalent Scrum Master to join a collaborative delivery team working across a range of digital and business initiatives within a Federal Government environment.

This isn’t a role where you’ll just run stand-ups and update Jira boards. The team is looking for someone who can help keep delivery moving, support good team dynamics, and work closely with stakeholders to remove blockers and improve the way teams work together.

You’ll be working with delivery leads, technical teams, and business stakeholders in an environment that genuinely values collaboration and continuous improvement. It’s a good opportunity for someone who enjoys Agile delivery, likes working closely with people, and wants to be part of meaningful projects with real community impact.

Your duties will include:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews
  • Help teams stay on track by identifying and removing delivery blockers
  • Support collaboration across technical teams, delivery leads, and stakeholders
  • Encourage practical Agile ways of working and continuous improvement across the team
  • Assist with managing priorities, dependencies, and delivery activities
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working as a Scrum Master within Agile delivery environments
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum principles
  • Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across teams
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams in fast-paced delivery environments
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
