SAP - Knowledge Management & Documentation Analyst

The Knowledge Management & Documentation Specialist will play a critical role in supporting an enterprise SAP Program by ensuring operational documentation, work instructions, and knowledge artefacts are accurate, complete, and aligned to the future-state environments. This role will enable effective capability uplift, support process transition, and facilitate seamless handover to business-as-usual support teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation Uplift & Consolidation
    • Review, update, and consolidate existing work instructions, workarounds, and support documents across payroll, problem analysis, support, and testing functions.
    • Ensure documentation reflects new solution designs, processes, and environments.
  • Process & Gap Analysis
    • Participate in analysis and assessment activities to identify gaps in current documentation.
    • Develop new documentation to address identified gaps and ensure alignment with future-state processes.
  • Knowledge Management
    • Create and maintain knowledge artefacts to support capability uplift within the CTS.
    • Prepare knowledge transfer packages and ensure effective handover to ongoing support teams and processes.
  • Governance & Alignment
    • Work under the direction of the Program’s Organisational Change Management (OCM) stream.
    • Adhere to program standards, methodologies, and governance requirements.

Key Deliverables

  • Updated and consolidated work instructions/workarounds for SAP HR/Payroll and Rostering future-state.
  • New documentation developed to address gaps.
  • Knowledge management artefacts and transition packs to support BAU teams.
  • Contribution to OCM outcomes, ensuring adoption and operational readiness.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in documentation development, process mapping, and knowledge management within large-scale ICT transformation programs.
  • Strong background in SAP HR/Payroll (ECC6 or S/4HANA HCM) and/or WFM environments highly desirable.
  • Experience working in government or large enterprise programs with multiple stakeholders.
