Our client is a well-established technology consulting organisation supporting some of Australia’s largest and most complex government transformation programs. With expertise across enterprise platforms, cloud technologies, and digital services, they play a key role in delivering solutions that support critical public services and national priorities.

The Role

We are seeking experienced SAP Finance Solution Architects and Lead SAP Finance Solution Architects to support the delivery of large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs within a complex government environment. These roles will play a critical part in shaping future-state finance solutions, providing architecture leadership, and ensuring SAP capabilities align with business objectives, governance requirements, and modernisation initiatives.

Your duties will include:

  • Lead the design and architecture of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions across complex transformation programs.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and fit-gap assessments to define future-state business processes.
  • Develop solution architecture artefacts, functional designs, integration approaches, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Provide guidance on SAP Finance capabilities including FI/CO, Asset Accounting, Funds Management, PSCD, and related finance processes.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions in Solution Architect, Lead Architect, Functional Architect, or senior SAP Finance leadership roles.
  • Strong expertise across SAP Finance modules including FI/CO, Asset Accounting, Treasury, Funds Management, PSCD, FSCM, or related finance capabilities.
  • Proven experience leading finance transformation, ERP modernisation, migration, or large-scale SAP implementation programs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively with senior business leaders, finance teams, and technical delivery teams.
  • Experience producing solution designs, architecture documentation, fit-gap analysis, and governance artefacts.
  • Previous experience within Australian Government or other highly regulated environments will be highly regarded.
