SAP BODS Support Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced SAP BODS Support Engineer to step into a hands-on support role within a busy enterprise environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, keeping platforms stable, and working closely with a collaborative team.

You’ll be supporting a critical data integration platform, working across incident management, maintenance, and ongoing improvement as the system approaches end-of-life.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing Level 2 support for SAP BODS job failures (triage, fix, document)
  • Managing incidents and work orders through to resolution
  • Supporting platform maintenance, including scheduled activities and server restarts
  • Assisting with disaster recovery planning, testing, and readiness
  • Contributing to planning activities around platform off-boarding
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Participating in knowledge sharing and handovers to maintain continuity

Requirements:

  • Solid experience supporting SAP BODS in a production environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across data integration workflows
  • Experience with incident and problem management processes
  • Understanding of platform maintenance and DR practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an established team
  • Clear communication and documentation skills
  • Must be able to do on call
