SAP Architect (BTP/BPC)

Talent are currently seeking a SAP Architect to join a utilities organisation based in Fortitude Valley for a 12 month contract on a number of initiatives.

Contract details:

  • 12 months + potential extension
  • Fortitude Valley location (2 days WFH pw)
  • Up to $1249.40/day inc super (PAYG only)

3 sequential SAP projects will be undertaken, covering:

  • Integration between SAP and 3rd party SaaS for 2 integrations, both to be developed and deployed by our AMS (Dyflex) but the design requirements and documentation to be reviewed and the build and deployment to be overseen from a technical perspective by the Architect.
  • Asset manager mobile upgrade to 2410 (or 2505),
  • Dynamic forms implementation (going to be heavy consulting type focus first then guiding how Dynamic Forms integrates to SSAM)
  • BPC Replacement with Group Reporting SAP module.

Requirements:

  • Candidate needs to have worked with SAP in a technical role
  • Understanding of SAP S/4 on RISE private cloud, SAP Cloud Platforms, SAP BTP.
  • Understanding of SAP BDC and awareness of BW modernisation
  • Need willingness to learn about the Products (SSAM, Dynamic Forms etc) if they don’t already have experience and for them to know where they would go to look to find out about these products.
  • (For the BPC replacement) having an understanding for SAP BDC and awareness of BW modernisation is really important and would be a significant decision maker for me.
  • Wider SAP architecture skills in identity management, integration and are interested in Signavio, Joule and automation using BTP SAP Build platform, that would help us a lot with our long-term SAP strategy.
  • No deep SAP expertise in the functional operation of these solutions, SMEs are available to cover the detail. You will need to be able to gather architecture requirements, learn and understand how the solutions integrate with the core SAP platform and be able to work with our SAP AMS provider to ensure they align to architectural governance requirements for design and approvals.
