  • Location: Canberra, ACT
  • Clearance: NV1 Security Clearance (Mandatory)
  • Contract Length: 12 months + 2 * 12 months extensions (Based on the discretion of the Department)

Our client is seeking a ‘Salesforce Solution Lead’ to provide technical delivery leadership across a major Salesforce program. Your operational model will be delivered as part of a multi-disciplinary Agile team. The role bridges the gap between Salesforce Architects and Developers ensuring scalable, secure, and best-practice Salesforce solutions are delivered across a diverse portfolio of programs including consular services, sanctions governance, and scholarship management.

Key responsibilities of the position:

  • Lead solution design, technical governance, and delivery within a Salesforce program
  • Translate business requirements into sustainable, scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Champion configuration-first approaches, leveraging out-of-the-box functionality over custom code where possible.
  • Provide technical oversight, review code and design, and enforce best practice standards.
  • Present solution designs to governance forums (Design Integrity Forum / Architecture Review Board).
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation to support solution adoption and transition to sustainment.
  • Drive compliance with Information Security Manual (ISM) controls and Federal Government records management requirements.
  • Mentor Salesforce developers and uplift capability across the delivery team.

What we are looking for:

  • Salesforce experience: 5+ years delivering Salesforce solutions, including 3+ years in a solution/technical lead role.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and best practice implementation.
  • Strong skills in Salesforce configuration which include objects, flows, permission sets, sharing rules.
  • Proven technical expertise in Apex, LWC, Aura, JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-level integration solutions and data models.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps practices.

Desirable expertise & certifications:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Administrator
  • Salesforce Designer certifications, Platform Developer II, Omnistudio Developer, Service Cloud Consultant, or Advanced Administrator.
  • BPMN modelling and strong understanding of business workflows.
  • Experience in the Public Sector and government program delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
