Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator

  • 12-month contract with a 12-month extension
  • Richmond or Geelong location
  • Hybrid working arrangements

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator to support a major Federal Government technology program.

You will manage and maintain the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, deliver email marketing campaigns and automation journeys, support integrations and help the organisation improve its use of marketing data and technology.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment, including data management and cleansing.
  • Create and execute email campaigns, including segmentation, list management and A/B testing.
  • Develop and maintain marketing automation workflows and customer journeys.
  • Manage data extensions and support the integration of external data sources.
  • Support integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Sales or Service Cloud.
  • Maintain clear documentation covering platform configuration and operational processes.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide practical insights to improve results.
  • Collaborate with marketing, technology and other business teams to integrate automation with broader systems and processes.
  • Provide training, troubleshooting and ongoing support to end users.
  • Recommend platform improvements based on new Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and capabilities.

About you:

  • Two to three years’ experience administering and implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong experience across email marketing, marketing automation and data management.
  • Sound understanding of Salesforce CRM platforms, processes and campaign management.
  • Proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, HTML and CSS.
  • Experience designing and managing data extensions.
  • Ability to analyse campaign data and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification is required.
  • Experience integrating external data sources with Marketing Cloud.
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Architecture certifications would be highly regarded.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
