About the Role:

Seeking an experienced Salesforce Field Service Administrator to support the ongoing administration, maintenance and BAU operation of its Salesforce Field Service platform. With the core development capability now established, this role will focus on ensuring the platform remains stable, well configured and responsive to the needs of field operations and corporate technology teams. The successful candidate will act as the key point of contact for day-to-day platform support, user administration, configuration changes, issue resolution and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Configure and administer Salesforce Field Service to support operational and project requirements
  • Manage work orders, work types, service appointments, service resources, skills and service territories
  • Configure operating hours, scheduling policies and appointment processes
  • Support the Dispatcher Console and Salesforce Field Service mobile application
  • Maintain users, profiles, permission sets, access controls and Field Service permissions
  • Configure objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules and declarative automation
  • Build and maintain Salesforce Flows to support business processes
  • Work with architects, developers and business SMEs to translate requirements into practical Salesforce configurations
  • Support testing, defect resolution, release activities and production deployment
  • Monitor data quality and assist with data loads, cleansing and migration activities
  • Develop reports and dashboards that provide visibility across field service activity and performance
  • Troubleshoot user and system issues and provide support to operational teams
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration records and user guidance
  • Ensure all configuration aligns with Salesforce governance, security and platform standards

Essential experience:

  • Demonstrated experience administering Salesforce Field Service, previously known as Field Service Lightning or FSL
  • Strong understanding of work orders, service appointments, service resources, territories, skills and scheduling
  • Hands-on Salesforce configuration experience, including objects, fields, layouts, record types, validation rules and permission sets
  • Experience developing and maintaining Salesforce Flows
  • Experience supporting the Field Service mobile application and/or Dispatcher Console
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security and access management
  • Experience supporting testing, releases, data quality and production environments
  • Ability to work effectively with architects, developers, business analysts and operational stakeholders

Highly regarded:

  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Experience delivering Salesforce solutions within utilities, energy, infrastructure or another field-based operational environment
  • Familiarity with Salesforce integrations and integration troubleshooting
  • Experience with data migration, Data Loader, Bulk API or similar tools
  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Salesforce Field Service Consultant certification
  • Experience working within a large transformation or technology delivery program
