We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce Data Cloud (D360) Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale customer data platforms. This is an opportunity to work with business and technology leaders to define data strategy, architect modern customer data solutions, and deliver meaningful business outcomes using Salesforce Data Cloud and the wider Salesforce ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform/D360) solutions.
  • Define enterprise customer data strategies aligned with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Design scalable data models, identity resolution frameworks, segmentation strategies, and data harmonisation processes.
  • Architect integrations between Salesforce Data Cloud and enterprise platforms, including CRM, marketing automation, ERP, data warehouses, and third-party applications.
  • Develop data governance, security, privacy, and compliance frameworks that support trusted customer data.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define customer data use cases across sales, marketing, service, and analytics.
  • Provide architectural leadership across solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Establish best practices for data quality, metadata management, master data management (MDM), and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Enterprise Architecture, Data Engineering, Analytics, Security, and Salesforce delivery teams.
  • Mentor technical teams and provide thought leadership on Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities and roadmap.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Data Cloud (D360) Architect or Salesforce Technical Architect with significant Data Cloud implementation experience.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and customer data platform (CDP) principles.
  • Experience developing enterprise data strategies and translating business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with cloud and enterprise platforms using APIs, middleware, ETL/ELT, and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, privacy, and security principles.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of modern data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric is advantageous.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and consulting skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to executive audiences.
