The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Salesforce Consultant with mid-level experience to support the delivery of Salesforce solutions for a client in the Energy & Utilities sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce implementations and a solid understanding of the industry’s unique challenges. You’ll collaborate closely with project teams and stakeholders to design, implement, and improve Salesforce applications that drive business value.

The Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
  • Assist in the design, configuration, and implementation of Salesforce applications for clients in the Energy and Utilities sector.
  • Provide guidance on Salesforce best practices and recommend solutions that align with client needs and industry standards.
  • Configure Salesforce modules (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) as needed, depending on project requirements.
  • Conduct data mapping, data migration, and system integrations to ensure seamless connectivity with external systems.
  • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure proper functionality of solutions post-implementation.
  • Provide post-deployment support and troubleshooting for users.
  • Train end-users and provide knowledge transfer sessions to ensure adoption of the Salesforce platform.
  • Continuously stay up-to-date with Salesforce updates, features, and capabilities, especially those relevant to the E&U industry.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Consultant or similar role.
  • Strong background in the Energy & Utilities (E&U) industry and familiarity with its business processes.
  • Experience with Salesforce implementation, configuration, and administration.
  • Hands-on expertise with Salesforce modules (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data structures, workflows, and customisation’s.
  • Experience with integration tools such as MuleSoft, Jitterbit, or other ETL tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, etc.) are a plus.

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning and familiarity with Salesforce DX.
  • Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific E&U solutions or products.
  • Ability to mentor junior consultants and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
