Salesforce Business Analyst | 6‑Month Contract | Hybrid (Auckland/Hamilton)

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst for a 6-month contract to support a major CRM transformation programme, implementing Salesforce to replace a legacy SAP environment and delivering a redesigned customer experience.

This role is hybrid, requiring 1 day per week onsite in Hamilton.

Programme Overview

The programme is focused on improving the end-to-end customer journey by enabling a self-service experience. Customers are looking for more autonomy and an easier way to manage day-to-day activities through a modern application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery to understand current-state (SAP) processes, pain points, and future-state (Salesforce) requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture and validate business needs.
  • Define and manage delivery-ready requirements including:
    • Epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria
    • Process maps, customer journeys, and future-state operating processes
    • Data, reporting, and integration requirements for SAP → Salesforce
  • Collaborate with delivery teams and the implementation partner to support solution design and delivery planning.
  • Ensure traceability from business outcomes through to build and test.
  • Support testing and go-live readiness (UAT support, defect triage, change impacts).

Required Experience / Skills

  • Demonstrated senior BA experience on Salesforce/CRM programmes.
  • Experience with systems replacement programmes (ideally SAP to Salesforce or similar).
  • Strong capability in integration analysis (interfaces, data flows, dependencies, impacts).
  • Confident facilitation and stakeholder management (including senior stakeholders).
  • Experience working alongside an external implementation partner / SI.
  • Able to work 1 day per week onsite in Hamilton.

Nice to Have

  • Experience delivering self-service portals / customer experience transformation.
  • Exposure to contact centre / CX workflows.
  • Experience in primary industry / rural / customer-led membership-style organisations.

Please note we can only accept applications if you are already living in New Zealand and or hold valid New Zealand working rights.
