We’re currently seeking a talented Requirements Engineer to play a key role in our projects based in Eastern Metropolitan Perth.
Role Overview: As a Requirements Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing business, functional, and non-functional requirements for our green energy initiatives in the mining space. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements.
- Developing clear, concise, and comprehensive requirement documents in the requirements management system.
- Utilizing industry-standard methodologies and tools to document requirements and maintain traceability throughout the development process.
- Managing changes to requirements, assessing impacts, and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders, product managers, development teams, and quality assurance engineers.
- Fostering effective communication and collaboration to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and project objectives.
Skills and Qualifications: To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Requirements Engineer in an engineering product development environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools such as Polarion X, DOORS, Jama Connect, or similar.
- Experience with systems engineering processes and methodologies is a plus.
