With a high volume of critical programs about to kick off, they’re looking for an experienced Release Manager to take ownership of complex, large-scale release cycles across multiple platforms and environments.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring delivery stays on track across a fast-paced, multi-project landscape.

You’ll be responsible for leading and coordinating end-to-end release management across a complex technology environment. Working closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and platform owners, you’ll ensure releases are well-governed, prioritised, and executed smoothly.

The environment is established, but with a significant increase in delivery volume, there’s a strong focus on strengthening processes, improving efficiency, and managing competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage dependencies, risks, and scheduling across a complex delivery landscape
  • Work closely with stakeholders (including senior leadership) to align priorities and expectations
  • Ensure release governance, controls, and processes are consistently applied
  • Drive continuous improvement across release and environment management practices
  • Coordinate across development, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams
  • Provide clear communication and reporting on release status, risks, and outcomes

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience as a Release Manager in a complex, enterprise environment
  • Strong understanding of release governance, environment management, and delivery lifecycles
  • Experience working across multiple concurrent projects with high interdependencies
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience interacting at senior/exec level
  • Ability to operate in high-pressure environments and manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with tools such as ServiceNow (or similar)
  • Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, CI/CD environments
