Regulatory Governance Officer
We’re seeking an experienced Regulatory Standards Officer to join a collaborative team during an exciting period of organisational transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys interpreting complex information, developing high-quality documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement across a regulatory environment.
It is a contract role through to end of November 2026 and a VPS 4 contract role.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, develop and maintain regulatory standards, guidance notes and governance documentation.
- Analyse legislation, regulatory frameworks and policy changes to identify impacts on the organisation.
- Proofread and quality assure legal, regulatory and operational documents to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Assist with the development of knowledge management resources and document repositories.
- Support governance and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure documentation aligns with legislative requirements and organisational objectives.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience reviewing legislation, legal, policy or regulatory documents.
- Strong governance, compliance or regulatory experience within government or a similar environment.
- Exceptional proofreading, editing and document management skills.
- Ability to interpret legislation and translate it into clear, practical guidance.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
