Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Container Platform Architect to join a high-performing enterprise team. This role offers a blend of architecture, design, project delivery, and hands-on engineering work. You will play a key role in driving the organisation’s containerisation strategy while supporting and enhancing the existing OpenShift platform.
Working closely with security, infrastructure, and development teams, you will design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing container platform solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, build, deploy, and test OpenShift platform enhancements.
- Lead containerisation initiatives using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Manage platform performance, optimisation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and development teams.
- Build new clusters and support application migration activities.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation and DevOps practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and project teams.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an OpenShift Architect or Senior OpenShift Engineer.
- Strong Red Hat OpenShift architecture and design expertise.
- Hands-on experience building clusters and migrating applications.
- Strong Kubernetes experience.
- Experience with Ansible automation.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation skills.
- Experience working with DevOps pipelines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong project leadership and coordination experience.
Nice to Have
- VMware experience.
- ArgoCD, Terraform, Tekton, Jenkins, and related DevOps tools.
- Enterprise-scale platform transformation experience.
