Recovery Partner / Return to Work Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage complex workers compensation claims in alignment with legislative and organisational frameworks.

  • Lead injury management and return-to-work planning to reduce claim durations and improve outcomes.

  • Implement early intervention strategies, particularly for psychological injury claims.

  • Provide high-level advice to stakeholders and deliver tailored rehabilitation and WHS solutions.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to influence and drive recovery objectives.

Essential Critieria:

  • Must have In-depth knowledge of Workers Compensation and WHS legislation (NSW) including the Workers Compensation Act 1987, Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998, WHS Act 2011 and related regulations.

  • Demonstrated experience in claims and injury management, particularly in high-risk or healthcare environments.

  • Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • SIRA-accredited Return to Work Coordinator Certificate.

  • Current unrestricted NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel as needed.
