An opportunity is available for an experienced Records & Information Management Officer to join a well-established Victorian public sector organisation on an initial 3-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake day-to-day records management activities using an electronic document and records management system (eDRMS), including Content Manager, TRIM or similar systems.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records, files and information in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and Public Record Office Victoria (PROV) requirements.
  • Provide advice and support to staff regarding records and information management requirements.
  • Assist with the filing, storage, retrieval, reconciliation and quality assurance of records and documents.
  • Support the administration and maintenance of Content Manager and Objective Connect.

To be successful, you will ideally bring:

  • Previous experience working within records, information or document management.
  • Hands-on experience with an eDRMS such as Content Manager, TRIM or a similar platform.
  • Knowledge of PROV standards, guidelines and Victorian Government recordkeeping requirements.
  • Strong understanding of records management principles including metadata, naming conventions, classification, archiving, retention and disposal.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and databases.
