Senior QA Engineer – Automation & Quality Engineering

We’re seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join a high-performing Quality Engineering team delivering a large-scale transformation program. This is an opportunity to work within a modern engineering environment focused on automation, API-first testing, cloud platforms, and continuous delivery.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of business-critical solutions across a complex multi-SaaS and integration-heavy ecosystem. Working alongside Test Architects, Technical Test Leads, Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners, you’ll help drive quality from design through to release.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test assets across API, integration, and user interface layers.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Validate business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.
• Contribute to API-first testing strategies including contract and integration testing.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of automated quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist with test environment and test data management activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional delivery teams.
• Contribute to quality metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a quality-first culture across the delivery team.

What you’ll bring

• Demonstrated experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests.
• Experience testing APIs, integrations, and enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps principles.
• Experience working with defect and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Highly regarded

• Experience with Playwright, Karate, Cypress, Selenium, or similar automation tools.
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud-hosted environments such as AWS.
• Experience working within large-scale transformation programs.
• Knowledge of test data management, masking, or obfuscation practices.
• Exposure to performance and non-functional testing.
• ISTQB certification.
