Project Support Officer
- Contract length: 12-month contract with potential extension
- Work locations: ACT – must live in the Canberra region
- Key skills: Project coordination, reporting, scheduling, SharePoint, DevOps exposure
- Work arrangement: Hybrid 2/3 days in the office
We are seeking an experienced Project Support Officer/Project Coordinator to play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of key IT and business projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will provide high-quality administrative, coordination, and reporting support to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced project environment and enjoys being the backbone of effective project delivery.
Your duties will include:
- Providing day-to-day administrative and logistical support to the Project Manager
- Coordinating project activities, schedules, meetings, and workshops
- Maintaining accurate project documentation, registers, and artefacts
- Tracking project progress, actions, milestones, and budgets
- Preparing reports, dashboards, and meeting materials
- Supporting communication across internal teams and external delivery partners
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proven experience in project support or coordination roles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience or familiarity with project and portfolio management tools and methodologies
- Competence in document management systems, including SharePoint
- Exposure to DevOps tools and an understanding of complex delivery environments
