Our client
Our client is a large government department tasked with delivering a range of health, welfare, and support services to individuals, families, and communities. They work closely with other government agencies and service providers to develop policy to support government programmes, design and develop service delivery systems that make services accessible to all and provide payments and services that support all Australians to improve their circumstances and achieve greater self-sufficiency and quality of life.
The Role
Our client is seeking the engagement of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to oversee the design, development and implementation of outputs that form a major Cyber Uplift program within the agency. Candidates engaged as part of this program will drive the implementation and integration of projects that contribute significantly to the strategic direction of the agency, working closely with key stakeholders to drive innovation and change.
Specifically, the successful candidates will:
- Manage, lead and deliver programs and projects with significant agency impact
- Develop and implement project plans and schedules
- Oversee program and project design, governance and operational integration
- Engage and manage key strategic stakeholder relationships
- Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues and benefits
- Oversee the management of budgets, contracts, procurement, resources and expenditure
- Report on and present project objectives to executive, and represent the agency externally
