Overview
Our client is embarking on a major greenfield SAP S/4HANA public cloud implementation (SuccessFactors and Financials), requiring integration with 20+ legacy systems via SAP BTP/CPI, Boomi, and APIs. Many of these platforms are live, business-critical environments with limited documentation.

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Program Manager and lead the successful delivery of integration across the corporate applications landscape. This role will be central to driving delivery outcomes, ensuring governance, and managing the complexities of integrating SAP into a diverse enterprise ecosystem. You will work closely with Corporate Systems, Architecture, vendors, and delivery teams to ensure the program is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic objectives.

The Role
You will operate within a PMO of ~20+ PMs and BAs, with a dotted line into the SAP S/4HANA program for the first 18 months. Acting as the Project Manager for integration, you will provide delivery leadership across multiple streams, ensuring alignment between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA integration across corporate systems
  • Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Produce and maintain status reports, dashboards, and executive updates
  • Establish and drive governance, including RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) management
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks across complex integration environments
  • Coordinate multiple delivery streams including SAP, integration (BTP/CPI, Boomi), and legacy systems
  • Drive planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking across vendors and internal teams
  • Ensure alignment between business priorities, technical delivery, and program outcomes
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across IT, business units, vendors, and executive leadership
  • Oversee vendor performance and delivery against contractual outcomes
  • Support testing phases, release planning, and transition into BAU operations
  • Act as a key escalation point and decision facilitator across the program

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager delivering complex enterprise programs
  • Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementations, ideally in public cloud environments
  • Strong background managing integration-heavy programs across multiple enterprise systems
  • Experience with integration technologies such as SAP BTP/CPI, Boomi, APIs, or similar
  • Demonstrated experience managing project financials, reporting, and governance frameworks
  • Strong risk and issue management capability in complex, multi-vendor environments
  • Ability to lead delivery across both project and BAU landscapes with minimal documentation
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate delivery status into clear business outcomes
  • Experience working within structured PMOs and large-scale transformation programs

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with tier-1 SAP implementation partners
  • Exposure to enterprise environments including Oracle, IFS, ServiceNow, or bespoke systems
  • Understanding of integration patterns (event-driven, batch, API-led architectures)

Due to our client’s government work, proof of Australian Citizenship required. You will also be required to pass a national criminal history police check
