About the opportunities
We are seeking expressions of interest from professionals at multiple levels for potential long-term engagements based in Townsville.
Opportunities may include:
- Program Manager
- Project Manager
- Portfolio Manager – part-time
- Program Support Officer or Coordinator
These roles will support the planning, governance and delivery of projects and programs across a complex energy environment. Depending on the position, responsibilities may range from senior program leadership and portfolio oversight through to project coordination, reporting and delivery support.
Responsibilities may include
- Lead or support complex programs and transformation projects
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks and dependencies
- Establish and maintain effective governance and reporting
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers
- Build strong relationships with senior and operational stakeholders
- Support portfolio planning, prioritisation and performance monitoring
- Prepare project documentation, reports, presentations and meeting materials
- Maintain registers, schedules, actions and delivery documentation
- Identify risks, resolve delivery issues and support informed decision-making
- Assist with organisational and operational change activities

Requirements
Requirements will vary depending on the opportunity, but may include:
- Experience across program, project, portfolio or delivery support functions
- Previous exposure to energy, energy transition, utilities, infrastructure or complex transformation environments is highly desirable
- Strong governance, reporting and stakeholder-management capability
- Experience managing or supporting project risks, schedules and dependencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Availability to work primarily onsite in Townsville
- Full Australian working rights
