Our client is a unique government agency which works closely with a range of national and international partners to create connections and gather information to protect Australia from serious threats. They deliver information-sharing solutions at the state, territory, and federal levels to ensure that essential information is available to all law enforcement agencies across Australia.

The Role

Talent is seeking experienced Project Managers to deliver a range of inflight initiatives across business areas including Intelligence, Information Systems, National Police Checking Services, and Corporate Services.

This is a great opportunity to lead high-impact projects within a complex Federal Government environment.

Skills and Experience

To be successful you will have:

  • 5+ years’ Project Management experience delivering complex business or technical projects.
  • Strong background in program governance (planning, financials, risks/issues, dependencies).
  • Ability to work across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders and vendors to deliver within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Strong communication skills, including experience preparing SES briefings and Board papers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative, high-performing teams.
  • Resilience and flexibility to deliver in a challenging environment.
  • Highly regarded: experience in Federal Government, project management certifications, knowledge of Essential Eight/ISM/Security Maturity, and a background in law enforcement or intelligence projects.
