Talent’s client is establishing a new AI Adoption workstream to accelerate the safe, ethical, and people-centred use of AI across a large, complex organisation. This is a high-visibility initiative focused on helping business teams identify where AI can deliver genuine value and supporting those opportunities through discovery, prioritisation, and early delivery.

This role suits a flexible, adaptive Project Manager who has hands-on experience delivering AI adoption initiatives and is comfortable operating across both business and technology environments, bringing structure and momentum to a fast-moving, evolving programme of work.

The Role

As Project Manager for the AI Adoption workstream, you’ll work closely with a cross-functional AI Working Group, senior business stakeholders, and technology teams to shape and progress AI opportunities across the organisation.

This is not an AI engineering role. However, practical experience working on AI adoption programmes is essential. The focus is on discovery, coordination, and enablement, helping teams move from early ideas and experimentation toward clear, prioritised, and deliverable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

AI Discovery & Process Definition

  • Work with business units to document, map, and structure current-state processes

  • Apply AI adoption experience to help identify where AI can deliver meaningful business value

Opportunity Enablement

  • Lead and support early-stage AI opportunity discovery, problem definition, and benefits articulation

  • Prepare AI opportunity assessments and documentation to support prioritisation and investment decisions

Delivery Coordination

  • Manage multiple AI-related streams of work concurrently within a dynamic adoption programme

  • Coordinate and facilitate workshops (discovery, design, execution) across business and technology teams

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong working relationships across a wide range of business and technical stakeholders

  • Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions clearly and pragmatically

AI Capability Enablement

  • Contribute directly to organisation-wide AI capability uplift

  • Support new ways of working using tools such as Microsoft Copilot or comparable AI platforms

  • Help transition AI initiatives from experimentation into tangible, production-ready business outcomes

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager (or Senior PM) delivering AI adoption or AI enablement initiatives

  • Demonstrated experience working in environments introducing AI into business processes or ways of working

  • Comfortable operating across both business and technology teams

  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Confidence navigating ambiguity and helping teams bring clarity to first-time AI initiatives

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining focus on outcomes

  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI platforms, or enterprise AI tooling is highly desirable

  • A strong human-centred mindset aligned to safe, ethical, people-first AI adoption

Working Arrangements

  • Hybrid working model, ideally 2-3 days per week in the office

  • Standard business hours with a flexible, outcome-focused working style
