Job Summary / Overview

An opportunity exists for an experienced Project Controls Manager to oversee all aspects of project controls across complex projects. You will be responsible for planning scheduling cost management risk management and reporting while supporting project teams with accurate analysis and recommendations to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead project planning scheduling and project controls activities.
* Manage project cost control and performance reporting.
* Monitor project risks and support risk mitigation activities.
* Prepare accurate project reports and performance analysis.
* Support project teams with data driven recommendations.
* Ensure compliance with recognised project controls standards and methodologies.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple project teams.
* Maintain project controls processes and governance.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Business Administration Project Management or a related field.
* Project management or project controls certification such as PMP PRINCE2 AACE CCP or equivalent is highly desirable.
* Minimum 7 to 10 years’ experience in project controls project management or a related discipline.
* Experience managing project controls on large scale complex projects preferably within telecommunications or technology.
* Experience using Primavera P6 MS Project SAP or similar project management tools.

Skills & Competencies

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Knowledge of earned value management cost control and risk management.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel PowerPoint and Word.
* Knowledge of PMI AACE and ISO 21500 frameworks.
Working Conditions
* Perth based.
* Hybrid working arrangement with 4 days in the office and 1 day working remotely.
* Occasional travel may be required.
