Project Controller

- $650 – $750 including super per day

Our client, a leading entertainment organisation, is seeking a Project Controller to join their team on an Initial 6 month contract. This is a newly created position due to extensive growth in the business. Our client is located in Sydney CBD, with the option to go to the office 2-3 days per week.
They are looking for a proactive Project Controller to join their PMO team and assist in coordinating various operational, administrative, and governance tasks. The ideal candidate will have PMO experience and a background in managing diverse administrative responsibilities. This position will involve supporting project-level activities, assisting with commercial and financial tasks, and ensuring adherence to their IT Project Delivery Framework.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordination and completion of operational, administrative, and governance tasks, including:
- Coordinating workshops and meetings, taking minutes, and managing assigned actions and follow-ups.
- Supporting adherence to their IT Project Delivery Framework and preparation of governance deliverables.
- Maintaining program RAIDD, updating as required from bi-weekly working group meetings, and supporting with follow-up actions.
- Managing Onboarding & Offboarding activities, including submission of new account requests and coordinating inductions.
- Developing and managing the Program/Project Document Tracker, ensuring relevant endorsements and approvals are recorded.
- Ensuring all project documentation and recordings are stored correctly and consolidating multiple SharePoint sites.
- Providing general support across the program and workstreams on various ad-hoc activities.
- Assist with commercial & financial tasks, including:
- Drafting Contract Summary Forms from SOWs and liaising with contracts administrator to process SOWs.
- Preparing and distributing POs, tracking invoice received & payments, and updating financials in relevant tracking spreadsheets.
- Assistance in preparation of funding requests, PreCAR, CAR, SupCAR.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PMO roles.
- Quick learner with autonomy and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage a diverse set of support/admin responsibilities.
