
Project Advisor
The Role
A State Government department is seeking a skilled Project Advisor (VPS4) to support the implementation and coordination of key reform programs. You’ll contribute to project planning, document management, and governance processes to ensure projects meet quality, compliance, and reporting standards. This is an initial 12 month contract with a potential to extend.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project planning, reporting, and delivery activities.
- Maintain documentation, risk registers and progress reports.
- Support governance processes and compliance monitoring.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Analyse data and prepare reports to inform decision-making.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in project management, business, or a related discipline.
- Experience in project coordination or advisory roles within government or large organisations.
- Strong organisational and documentation management skills.
- Familiarity with VPS or public sector reporting frameworks desirable.
