An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Program Manager to lead the delivery of a significant transformation program within a Victorian Government regulatory environment.

Working within a dedicated Transformation function, you will oversee a complex program of work focused on improving regulatory service delivery, operational capability and organisational effectiveness. It is a VPS 6 contract role through to end of July 2027.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of a complex, high-profile transformation program.
  • Manage program performance, budgets, milestones, risks, dependencies, resources and delivery outcomes.
  • Establish strong relationships with senior executives, operational teams and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear operational plans, processes and measurable outcomes.
  • Prepare high-quality program reports, executive briefings, presentations and governance updates.
  • Develop program documentation, facilitate workshops and support the design of new processes and ways of working.
  • Manage issues, risks and changes in scope across large and complex projects.

About You

To be successful, you will bring significant experience delivering complex programs and strategic projects, ideally within a government, regulatory or similarly complex operating environment.

You will have:

  • Demonstrated program management experience within a regulatory environment.
  • Strong experience managing complex end-to-end programs, including financials, resources, vendors, risks and governance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level briefings, reports and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into practical delivery plans and sustainable operational outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational capability.
