Our Client

Our Federal Government client is Australia’s principle revenue collection agency, primarily responsible for administering the federal taxation system and superannuation legislation, as well as managing and delivering a range of Australian government payment and loan schemes.

The Role

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Program Manager to lead a large-scale enterprise automation uplift within a complex government environment. You will drive coordination across multiple technology and business workstreams, ensuring governance, financial oversight, and delivery alignment are executed with precision. This role sits at the centre of a significant transformation initiative, delivering measurable operational benefits and long-term capability uplift.

Your duties will include:

  • Leading end-to-end program planning across multiple workstreams, including integrated scheduling and dependency management
  • Establishing and running program governance forums, executive reporting and steering committee support
  • Managing program controls including RAID, change management, assurance and quality processes
  • Overseeing program financials, forecasting, vendor costs and budget reporting
  • Coordinating procurement activities and supporting vendor transition to delivery
  • Driving stakeholder engagement across business, architecture, security and delivery partners

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Extensive program management experience delivering complex technology-enabled programs within government or regulated environments
  • Strong governance and executive reporting capability, including steering committee engagement
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional teams across internal and external delivery partners
  • Demonstrated financial management experience including forecasting and benefits tracking
  • Experience supporting procurement activities and managing vendor performance
  • Excellent communication skills, including executive brief writing and facilitation
