Program Director
We’re partnering with a large, well-established education organisation embarking on a major enterprise-wide transformation to modernise its student management ecosystem. This is a rare opportunity to lead a highly visible strategic program that will shape the future of student services and operational excellence across the organisation.
As the Senior Program Director, you’ll lead the development and delivery of a roadmap to implement a single Student Management System while transforming the broader student lifecycle ecosystem.
Working closely with executive leadership, operational teams, ICT, and external delivery partners, you’ll provide strategic direction across a complex program involving multiple business units, competing priorities and significant organisational change.
This is a highly influential role where your ability to build executive support, navigate ambiguity and drive alignment will be critical to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the strategic roadmap for a future single Student Management System.
- Lead a complex enterprise transformation spanning technology, business processes and organisational change.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to establish alignment and secure organisational buy-in.
- Shape the broader student lifecycle architecture, including scheduling, timetabling and critical system integrations.
- Oversee program delivery across multiple workstreams, vendors and implementation partners.
- Lead governance, executive reporting and program performance.
- Facilitate complex stakeholder discussions and resolve competing priorities across the organisation.
- Ensure successful adoption through effective change management and business engagement.
Skills and experience
- Extensive experience leading enterprise-wide transformation programs.
- A strong background delivering complex technology implementations alongside business process redesign and organisational change.
- Exceptional executive stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation and presentation capabilities.
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps and translating vision into executable programs.
- The ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong governance, reporting and program leadership experience.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to work through ambiguity and complexity.
- Experience delivering large ERP, Student Management System, CRM or enterprise platform implementations within education environments will be highly regarded.
