About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive Production Support Engineer to ensure the stability, performance, and ongoing health of key production systems. In this role, you will monitor and maintain business-critical applications, analyse recurring issues to drive long-term fixes, and contribute to a smooth and reliable user experience across the organisation.

You will manage incidents and service requests, following ITIL best practices, while helping reduce future disruptions through effective problem management. This position operates in a hybrid working environment, offering flexibility and a supportive team structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the availability and performance of production systems.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed timeframes.
  • Analyse patterns and recurring issues to contribute to permanent remediation.
  • Identify, document, and escalate operational risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the end-user experience.
  • Produce clear and concise technical documentation.

Skills & Experience – Essential

  • Solid understanding of SQL and its practical application.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles.
  • Minimum 2 year’s experience in a production support or similar role.
  • Desirable Skills
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
