We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager with Public Sector experience to help transform our community services here in Auckland. In this role you’ll be responsible for the digital transformation, leading the delivery of innovative products and services that enhance everyday life.

You’ll collaborate with senior leaders, multidisciplinary teams, and front line staff-bringing people along the journey while navigating the unique political and cultural landscape of a government organisation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the design and delivery of digital products and services across public facing services.
  • Working directly with GM-level stakeholders all the way to community stakeholders to align initiatives.
  • Championing user-centred design, ensuring our products meet the real needs of the community.
  • Apply Agile practices to manage road maps, backlogs, and iterative delivery.
  • Build trust and advocating for projects within a complex political environment, securing support and funding.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in a public sector environment
  • Hands-on experience delivering digital transformation projects
  • Strong understanding of community services-how they’re delivered, funded, and accessed.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities to make sound, strategic decisions.
  • Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams, bridging the gap between technology and community outcomes.
