Procurement Officer
Talent International is currently recruiting a Procurement Officer to work for the NSW Government, based in Parramatta. This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension, paying $65/hr plus Super.
8 hours per day/ 40 hours per week
Driver’s License – Required
Working from Home arrangements: 5 days in the office over 2 weeks if not travelling, but flexible. Tuesday is the team’s anchor day in the office.
About the Role
You will play a key role in delivering end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring value-for-money outcomes while maintaining compliance with government policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and support procurement planning
- Conduct sourcing activities, market analysis, and risk assessments
- Support negotiations and establish supplier agreements
- Assist in contract management, performance monitoring, and issue resolution
- Provide procurement advice and guidance across the agency
- Identify and manage procurement risks
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting
About You

- Proven government procurement experience OR strong construction industry procurement knowledge
