Procurement and Contract Officer

Job Summary / Overview:
An opportunity is available for an experienced Procurement and Contract Officer to support the development and management of low risk commercial contracts. Working within a collaborative procurement team you will provide advice to stakeholders, maintain contract compliance and contribute to procurement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage allocated low risk contracts.
  • Provide procurement and contract management advice to business areas.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and suppliers throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Monitor vendor performance and contract compliance.
  • Maintain contract registers and procurement records.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence and meeting minutes.
  • Support procurement policy development and process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in contract development and/or management of low risk contracts.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, research and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Sound Microsoft Office skills and experience with contract management systems.
