Procurement Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Advisor to support best-practice procurement governance, operations and stakeholder engagement across a complex environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring procurement activities are compliant, transparent and aligned with Whole of Victorian Government policies and legislative requirements. It is through to end of June 2026 with possible extensions, a VPS 4 opportunity.
Key Accountabilities

Contribute to the development, review and maintenance of procurement frameworks, policies, procedures, templates and guidelines, ensuring alignment with VGPB and legislative requirements and maintaining version control.

Assist with the implementation of the Social Procurement Strategy

Review and provide quality assurance of procurement documentation, briefings and detailed reports
- Maintain procurement-related content on the intranet and SharePoint, assist with supplier complaints and disputes, and support publication of the Procurement Activity Plan.

Respond to enquiries and requests for procurement assistance via a shared mailbox, delivering timely and high-quality advice.
Technical Expertise

Demonstrated experience and knowledge of procurement governance, policies and processes, procurement operations, purchasing and contract management.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

Experience in an end-to-end procurement role is highly desirable.
