Principal Solution Architect - HR
A leading Financial Services organisation is seeking an experienced Principal Solution Architect with strong HR domain knowledge to join their team on a permanent basis.
Working within a high-performing Solution Architecture practice, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders across People, Corporate Affairs & Community (CAC), Technology and broader enterprise functions to drive strategic architecture outcomes across a large and complex environment.
This is a highly visible leadership role focused on shaping and delivering end-to-end technology solutions across key People & Culture initiatives spanning Talent Acquisition, Core HR, Payroll, Learning & Development, Employee Services, Workplace Relations and Digital Enablement. You will play a critical role in driving AI adoption, modernisation and transformation initiatives across the broader HR technology landscape.
Operating as a trusted advisor to the business, you will be responsible for defining and socialising architecture strategy, execution roadmaps and future-state solution designs aligned to enterprise objectives. You will also provide governance, architectural oversight and leadership across multiple transformation initiatives while mentoring and leading a team of Solution Architects.
This role requires a hands-on leader who combines strong enterprise architecture capability with exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills. You will work closely with senior executives and business leaders to support investment decisions, drive simplification initiatives and uplift organisational capability across Data & AI.
To be successful in this role, you will bring extensive Solution Architecture experience within large, complex enterprise environments together with strong exposure to HR and People & Culture domains. Experience designing and implementing enterprise Data & AI solutions within production environments will be highly regarded.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications (e.g. TOGAF)
- Extensive Solution Architecture leadership experience within large enterprise organisations
- Strong experience across HR, People & Culture or workforce-related technology domains with proven experience working with HR technology platforms and enterprise people systems
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Data & AI solutions would be highly regarded
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills
- Experience partnering with executive-level business and technology stakeholders
- Strong people leadership capability with experience mentoring or leading architecture teams
- Experience driving simplification, modernisation and transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of architecture governance, security, risk and compliance requirements
- The ability to navigate complex enterprise environments and manage competing stakeholder priorities
- A pragmatic and commercially focused approach to problem solving and decision making
