Our client, a Federal Government organisation, is seeking an experienced PMO & Business Delivery Coordinator to support the delivery of a large-scale national transformation program.
This role sits within a multidisciplinary program environment, providing coordination across PMO governance, project delivery, business analysis, and product release management. You’ll work closely with Program Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to ensure projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project delivery activities from initiation through to implementation and closure.
  • Support Program Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners in planning and delivering project outcomes.
  • Maintain governance artefacts, project schedules, status reports, RAID registers, and change documentation.
  • Coordinate PMO governance meetings, reporting, and secretariat activities.
  • Support release planning, implementation readiness, deployment coordination, and post-release activities.
  • Maintain project documentation and collaboration sites, including SharePoint and Confluence.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, governance, and delivery practices.

Key Requirements

  • Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Experience in a PMO, Project Coordination, Project Support, or Business Delivery role supporting technology or transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, reporting, and project lifecycle coordination.
  • Experience maintaining project schedules, RAID registers, actions, dependencies, and governance documentation.
  • Exposure to release management, deployment coordination, or implementation readiness activities.
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Planner, and Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience with Power BI and/or Power Automate.
  • Previous experience within the Australian Public Service (APS) or Federal Government.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience supporting digital, data, or technology transformation programs.
