PKI Engineers - Multiple roles

Our client is a federal government agency who has a great opportunity for multiple Cyber contractors for a variety of roles. Currently they need experienced PKI Engineers within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) function, situated within their organisation. These positions are responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions within an Azure and AWS Cloud environment. The PKI Engineer collaborates closely with stakeholders to ensure that PKI solutions align with security standards, and compliance regulations.

Duties:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions, including certificate authorities (CAs), digital certificates, and cryptographic key management.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective PKI configurations.

  • Configure and manage PKI components, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and security best practices.

  • Optimize PKI solutions for scalability, performance, and security, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.

  • Develop and implement automations to streamline PKI operations and enhance security posture.

To apply for this long term contract, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Extensive experience as a subject matter expert with industry leading PKI products and platforms, such as Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), Entrust, GlobalSign, or equivalent, is highly desirable.

  • Experience in designing or implementing in a Cloud environment such as Azure or AWS.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage workload and priorities.

  • Proven ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.

This will be an initial 12 month contract with likely extensions and can be based in Richmond or Geelong.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship
